The University employs over 7,000 people from a wide variety of
backgrounds in an incredibly diverse range of activities and includes
all ages and contract
types. Almost 350 staff have declared a disability and we have staff of
99 different nationalities. Each member of staff has a unique set of
skills and abilities which allows them to carry out their roles and each
has different needs and aspirations both in and outside of work.
Through recognising and valuing this diversity, leaders and managers can
