OVERALL AIMS:
- To gain an understanding of how data keyed into the Programme/Module
Catalogue is used to support the module enrolment process
- To provide Schools with information on the importance of their role in
this area of
Student Operations.

INTENDED OUTCOMES:
On completion of the course participants will have:
- Gained a better understanding of the links between the
Programme/Module Catalogue and
the Module Enrolment process
- Be better equipped to administer data accurately, and to monitor
students' module enrolment in an
effective way.

CONTENT:
An informal and friendly workshop to provide an opportunity for staff to
learn about the Programme and Module Approval process, and to gain a
better understanding of the online Module Enrolment Process. The course
will cover:
• the programme and module review process,
• the importance of the Programme and Module Catalogues,
• the Module Enrolment process for students,
• an understanding of the online enrolment system,
• an overview of the tools available to monitor student module
enrolment
• the key role School staff play in this area of Student
Operations.

TUTORS:
Laura Markey is a Senior Student Education Service Officer in Programmes
& Assessments (Operations) and is responsible for the operational
management of the module enrolment process for academic schools and
students, along with the management of programme and module data held
within University systems.

John Hardy is also a Student Education Service Officer in the Operations
Section with responsibility for the Programme and Module Catalogues.
