Basic SAP navigation techniques are not covered in this training course.

navigation course first.

THIS COURSE IS FOR THE ROLE OF 'DEPARTMENTAL MAINTENANCE' AND YOU MUST
COMPLETE BOTH THIS COURSE AND THE 'EMPLOYEE MAINTENANCE' COURSE TO
OBTAIN THE ROLE.

OUTLINE

SAP has been used for central HR functions since the University of Leeds
implemented it in 1999. Since then there have been more functions
available to departmental users. The Manager's Desktop role enables
reporting at both personal and departmental level. Sickness Absence
enables departmental sickness recording and reporting.

This rollout of HR functionality to departments not only consolidated
the recording of sickness and holidays into a single system but through
employee maintenance, greatly helps to improve the quality
of data we hold in the SAP system.

Advice and further guidance may be obtained from the Human Resources
Office and the Human Resources website at www.leeds.ac.uk/hr.
