Description
In this session, we will look at imagination as one of the key pillars
of building empathy and connection with coachees and mentees. Informed
by her experience as an applied theatre scholar and practitioner, Alice
will share her model for transformational coaching and introduce an
approach that harnesses the imagination in a way that is fun, insightful
and encourages coachees and mentees to channel different perspectives
and develop new thinking. We'll be exploring through practice in a safe
and supportive environment with lots of opportunity for questions,
reflections and discussion.
Alice is a Professor of Applied Performance in the School of Performance
and Cultural Industries. Alice is an experienced mentor and has made a
sustained contribution to the Aurora programme, acting as an advocate
for women in leadership across academic and professional services roles.
She has recently qualified as a Transformational Coach and combines her
disciplinary expertise in theatre and creative health with her approach
to supporting colleagues through change and challenge in the workplace.
