This session explores the importance of digital capabilities and how
they support your role at the University. You will learn how to use the
Jisc Discovery Tool to assess your digital capabilities, identify
development opportunities, and access tailored resources. We will also
explore how teams and departments can use Discovery Tool insights to
understand collective strengths and development needs.
By the end of the session, you will be able to:
- Understand what digital capabilities are and why they matter.
- Understand how the Jisc Discovery Tool supports individual, team, and
departmental development.
- Access and use the Jisc Discovery Tool, including:
- Signing in and selecting an appropriate question set.
- Interpreting your report.
- Accessing resources and requesting a digital badge.
- Identify strengths and areas for development and plan next steps.
- Explore how Discovery Tool insights can support team and departmental
development planning.
