Description
COURSE OVERVIEW:
Before diving into formulas, functions, and data analysis, it is
important to understand the environment in which your Excel files are
created, stored, and shared.
In this session, we will explore the key considerations involved in
planning an Excel file, including who needs access to it and where it
should be stored.
You will become familiar with working in Excel Online, understand the
importance of checking your language and regional settings, and learn
how to create and share files using OneDrive. We will also look at how
Excel integrates with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint, allowing
colleagues to collaborate on files, before comparing the online
experience with the Desktop version of Excel and exploring the available
options and settings.
These skills provide a solid foundation for working confidently with
Excel in a modern Microsoft 365 environment.
COURSE FORMAT:
The course involves explanation, demonstration and hands-on practice,
working through tasks that build on your existing skills and
increase the functionality of spreadsheets.
PREREQUISITES:
Participants should have a basic understanding of what Excel is and the
types of tasks it can be used for, such as organising, analysing, and
presenting data. However, an in-depth knowledge of Excel is not
