Description
This course will take place online.
Building strong external partnerships can enhance the quality, relevance
and impact of research. By working with stakeholders beyond academia,
researchers can gain new perspectives, create opportunities for
knowledge exchange, and increase the potential for their research to
make a difference.
This interactive workshop will introduce practical approaches to
identifying and prioritising external stakeholders relevant to your
research. Through discussion and activities, you will explore how to
understand stakeholder needs, communicate the value of your research to
different audiences, and develop a value proposition to support
engagement and collaboration.
As a result of attending, you will be able to:
• Identify and begin prioritising external stakeholders and partners
relevant to your research area.
• Construct a value proposition using the Value Proposition Canvas tool.
• Identify next steps for engaging with external stakeholders and
partners.
• Develop an action plan outlining the first steps towards
building and strengthening external research partnerships.
