OBJECTIVE:
This online session will introduce you to the key features to help you
get started with writing your transfer report or your thesis chapters
and includes hints & tips.
PREREQUISITES:
This session part of the "Word for Thesis Part 1 (Online)"
programme. Part1A MUST be completed before attending the this session.
FORMAT:
The online course is delivered by a facilitator completely online via
Microsoft Teams, therefore you will need a stable internet connection to
join the session.
The demonstrations are performed using Word 365 for Windows throughout
the course. There is an equivalent session for Mac users.

• Page Layout (landscape/portrait)
• Using Section Breaks
• Control Page Numbering
• Change position of page number on landscape page
• Double sided v single sided printing
