Description

This workshop is one of the Developing Your Teaching workshops,
provision from the Student Education Development Team.

This course will take place on campus.

This interactive workshop introduces staff to the principles of
inclusive digital design in Minerva, empowering you as a practitioner to
reframe digital design as a key pedagogical foundation for learning
design. We will explore how thoughtful structure, clear presentation and
interactive activities can transform the student learning experience,
and will unpack how effective design supports constructive alignment.
Participants will experience a range of interactive and multimedia
options within Minerva and consider how these can be used to build more
engaging, student‑centred learning journeys.

By the end of the workshop, attendees will be able to evaluate their own
modules with an inclusive lens and identify practical, achievable
enhancements that make their online spaces clearer, more consistent and
more welcoming for all learners.

Please bring your laptop to this session, and come with a particular
module in mind on which you would like to improve design and engagement.
