Description
OBJECTIVE:
This online session will introduce you to the key features to help you
get started with writing your transfer report or your thesis chapters
and includes hints & tips.
PREREQUISITES:
This session part of the "Word for Thesis Part 1 (Online)"
programme. Part1A MUST be completed before attending the this session.
FORMAT:
The online course is delivered by a facilitator completely online via
Microsoft Teams, therefore you will need a stable internet connection to
join the session.
The demonstrations are performed using Word 365 for MAC throughout
the course. There is an equivalent session for Windows users.

• Create and delete footnotes
• Search for existing footnotes in a document
• Change the footnote value
• View a list of all footnotes in one place
• Marking abbreviations in a document
• Generating a list of abbreviations
