Description

This workshop is one of the Developing Your Teaching workshops,
provision from the Student Education Development Team.

This course will take place online.

Feeling lonely at the front of the classroom?
Disappointed or disheartened that your students are not engaging?

Join in a session which focuses on 'Fostering Equitable Participation in
the Classroom: Exploring the use of Liberating Structures'. Together we
will explore the benefits of student participation, consider some of the
barriers that hinder participation, and highlight some of the
methods/strategies for facilitating student participation including
having a go at a structured method for fostering group discussion.

Please note: this is an interactive event, so you will need a desktop
PC, laptop, tablet or smartphone with microphone, webcam and speaker or
headphones. You will also need to be in a place where you feel
comfortable to speak during group discussions.
