Description

This workshop is one of the Developing Your Teaching workshops,
provision from the Student Education Development Team.

This course will take place online.

This online workshop will give you the opportunity to explore ways to
make your student inductions are more engaging, to enhance the welcome
experience for your students and increase engagement with induction
information. Induction can a be an overwhelming time for students with a
lot of information provided to them and ensuring this is engaging for
them to help with information retention is important.

Examples of active, creative and engaging methods for designing and
delivering induction materials and sessions will be shared, including a
hands-on opportunity to take part in some yourself. You will have the
opportunity to connect with colleagues from across the university and
consider how your students could benefit from the ideas shared and how
you could implement some of these in your own practice.
