Description
This programme is designed to enable you to explore what leadership
entails and to identify your leadership style. It is for Postgraduate
Researchers whose research requires the input and collaboration of
others. You may have a small amount of knowledge or experience in
applying leadership skills or have infrequent opportunities to connect
leadership theory to practice.
There will be a focus on you identifying and prioritizing fundamental
leadership competencies, enhancing self-awareness, and creating
collaborative working relationships.
Note: You must attend both days. You can only attend on day 2 if you
have attended day 1 and you have to attend both days to have your
attendance recorded on the system. There will also be on online peer
group meeting and you will need to complete activities in between
sessions.
By the end of this workshop you will be able to:
• Describe your leadership style.
• Prioritise leadership skills.
• Formulate approaches for purposeful interaction with other people.
