Description
Aurora is a women-only leadership development programme designed and
facilitated by Advance HE. It was created to address the under-
representation of women in senior roles in higher education. The
University of Leeds has been an active member since its launch in 2013,
supporting over 250 participants in their leadership career trajectory.
The programme is for colleagues at or above lecture level, and Grade 6
and above in professional services and technician roles. Information
about what the programme includes can be found on our OD&PL site.
There will be a number of changes to the eligibility, application and
selection for Aurora this year, primarily opening up the programme to
colleagues at Grade 6. We highly encourage line managers to attend this
briefing to understand the programme, who can benefit, and how the
application process will work this year. The session will close with a
Q&A's with our University's Aurora Champion – Maria Stopyra.
