LinkedIn Learning but are intrigued to know more - or colleagues who
have a basic awareness of LinkedIn Learning but would like some top tips
on how to get the most from it on their personal and professional
development journeys

Description

This session will be delivered online

This session gives the participants the opportunity to explore LinkedIn
Learning and how it can support them in their learning and development
here at the University of Leeds. Our LinkedIn Learning expert will share
top tips for how to use the many features available within LinkedIn
Learning for maximum personal and professional impact.

As part of the session participants will have the opportunity to:
- Navigate the Site
- Search the site (saving courses)
- Use the controls within a course (speed, language, closed captions,
Q&A, Notes)
- Add personalization (using the ‘my goals’ features to set your skills,
your career and learning goals)
- Access LinkedIn, certificates, recommendations
- Understand how to use portable devices and download courses.

By the end of the session participants will:

- Be familiar with LinkedIn Learning
- Understand the benefits for them personally and professionally
- Appreciate the value associated with LinkedIn Learning
- Know how to access it (anywhere anytime*)

What the event will cover:
- Familiarisation with LinkedIn Learning
- Understanding the benefits for them personally and professionally
- Practical support on navigating and personalising a LinkedIn Learning
profile

This session will be delivered online. This is a fully interactive
session and participants will explore LinkedIn Learning for themselves,
under the expert guidance and support of Rachael Clark.

The session will be delivered by Rachael Clark (Project Assistant)
supported by Harriet Boatwright (Learning and Development Advisor).
Harriet’s focus is to maximise learning and development opportunities
for colleagues in Grade 2 to 5 roles, supporting them in their personal
and professional development. Rachael has been leading on LinkedIn
Learning since its introduction to the University in 2019. Rachael’s
focus has been on supporting colleagues across the University to use
LinkedIn Learning for their role but also for their personal and
professional development.

The team vision is to provide an agile learning and development
portfolio that works for our colleagues in the G2 - G5 community.
Through a sense of togerthnesss, belonging and connection we will be
proud to work together to better ourselves and eachother.
