Overall aim of course
This session will be delivered face-to-face on campus

This is our latest workshop in the Psychosocial Resources range of
workshop. This cutting-edge session captures the concepts of the current
climate which are encouraging us all to set limits on the time we work,
how we work and how much work we take on. Setting limits and saying no
is a competence and it takes practice and an understanding of the
psychosocial conditioning and contracts we sometimes find ourselves in.
These can make it hard to say, "I can’t", "I don’t have the capacity" or
even "not right now". In this session we will explore some of the
reasons we say yes to work tasks but want to say no, or even say ‘yes’
without properly considering the impact it might have upon us and our
colleagues or managers. We will help you engage your inner coach and
also practice and experiment with some techniques and hints that you
might feel helpful to take back into your workplaces.
