Description
This workshop will cover the key aspects of creating clear, coherent and
meaningful paragraphs, so that you can write, check and proofread your
own work more effectively.

Referring to a workshop booklet we will work both as a class and in
small groups, and there will also be an opportunity to look at your
work, so if possible, please bring a past or current assignment to the
session.

This workshop includes:

  • How to use words to make your paragraph logical and coherent.

  • Using language to make effective transitions between paragraphs.

  • Key grammatical and vocabulary elements needed for clear and
    meaningful paragraphs.

Location: Teaching Room 1, Level 1, Laidlaw Library.
