Description
Participants in this workshop will have an opportunity to reflect on
their own writing skills and consider the expectations of writing at
Masters level. There will be a variety of activities to promote thining
about critical writing and how to develop an individual writing style.

This workshop includes:

  • Reflect on the strengths and limitations of own academic
    writing, within the context of the requirements for Masters level study.

  • Recognise the difference between descriptive and critical writing.

  • Determine how to develop own writers voice and style for Masters
    level study.


Location: Teaching Room 1, Level 1, Laidlaw Library.
