COURSE OBJECTIVE:
This online course focuses on tools that help you organise, summarise
and analyse larger sets of data in Excel.
You will learn how to use outlining features to group and collapse
sections of information, create subtotals to automatically summarise
data by category, and explore a range of What-If Analysis tools to test
different scenarios and understand how changes to your data can affect
results.
These techniques provide valuable insights and can help support
decision-making, planning and data analysis tasks.
COURSE FORMAT:
The course involves explanation, demonstration and hands-on practice,
working through exercises that build on your existing skills and
increase the functionality of spreadsheets.
PREREQUISITES:
Participants should have a sound knowledge of Excel and be able to
apply a simple filter, sort data, create and understand basic formula.

• Apply subtotals to a data list without writing the formula
• Create an automatic and manual outline to expand/collapse columns/rows
• Word with the What-If Analysis tools (Goal Seek, Scenario Manager and
