Description
Participants in this workshop will explore how essay structure helps to
create and support an argument. There will be opportunities to look at
introductions and conclusions and how to bring different ideas together
in a logical order.

This workshop includes:


  • Consider the importance and role of essay structure with regards to
    constructing an argument

  • Identify key components of impactful introduction and conclusion
    paragraphs

  • Develop strategies for planning the order of ideas within the whole
    body of an essay.



Location: Teaching Room 1, Level 1, Laidlaw Library.
