Description
Overall aim of course: To introduce basic guidance in designing and
presenting a research poster that effectively communicates your
research.
Learning outcomes:
Participants will gain a greater understanding of:
• Preparing research content for a poster: e.g. understanding the
audience need, identifying the aspects of your research to present,
clarifying you key messages for the audience.
• Good practice in poster design: e.g. effective styles, white
space balance, text/image balance etc.
• How to present your poster at a conference
This is an online course. If you wish to participate please book on the
course and you will be sent a link to access the online course. You will
also be offered a place on a clinic session where you can receive one-
one feedback on the poster you have created once you have completed the
online course.
