Aims:
This session will introduce participants to Minerva and demonstrate how
it can be used to support teaching and enhance the student experience.
We will cover how access is given to different parts of Minerva, how it
links to other University systems and explain common Minerva processes
which affect you. We will highlight the communication functions in
Minerva and how the core tool set provided in Minerva modules can help
enhance teaching.

Outcomes:
After the session participants should be better able to:
● Describe the core functionality of Minerva
● Access Minerva modules and organisations
● Use Minerva to communicate to cohorts of students
● Identify the key tools in Minerva modules
● Access help with Minerva

Content and format:
A 60 minute session with a presentation, discussion and lots of
opportunity for questions. This is not a ‘hands on’ session.
