Description
In this workshop you will analyse and practise language points related
to sentence structure, in order to improve the clarity of your own
writing.

Referring to a workshop booklet, you will look at these points both as a
class and in smaller groups. You will also have the opportunity to
apply what you have learnt to your own writing, so if possible, please
bring a past or current assignment to the session.

This workshop includes:

  • To better understand sentence structure and how it can affect
    clarity in academic writing.

  • To improve the clarity of your own academic writing.

  • To be able to check and proofread your own work more effectively.

Location: Teaching Room 1, Level 1, Laidlaw Library.
