Turning your PhD thesis into a monograph or journal articles.

Wondering how to publish your thesis or part of your thesis? Are you
new/relatively new to publishing your work?

This session provides practical advice on what to do when preparing and
submitting your PhD thesis for publication.

There will be presentations from the following two publishers, followed
by time for questions.

• Cathryn Steele, Oxford University Press. As Assistant
Commissioning Editor for Humanities and Social Sciences, Cathryn will
speak about converting a PhD thesis into a monograph in the Arts and
Humanities.
• Liz Colquhoun, Routledge (Taylor & Francis), Humanities & Social
Science Journals. Liz will offer advice on converting chapters of a PhD
thesis into journal articles.

This workshop is provided by Leeds University Library in collaboration
with Leeds Doctoral College.
