Description COURSE FORMAT: This is a half-day course which builds upon the material covered in SPSS Beginners and provides greater detail of aspects of data handling in SPSS. The course will mix teaching with demonstrations and hands-on exercises. PREREQUISITES: The ‘SPSS’ courses are designed to be undertaken in order. Participants must have attended the SPSS for Beginners course prior to applying for the SPSS Intermediate course. CONTENT: • Transform Variables using the Recode procedure • Transform Variables using the Compute Variables procedure • Use Select Cases and Split File commands • Use the Weight Cases procedure • Use the Explore procedure to assess normality of data • Transform variables to achieve normality • Handle multiple response data DURATION: 3hrs COST: Free of Charge
