Description
Content of HSE recommended 1 day Emergency First Aid at Work:
- Acting safely, promptly and effectively in an emergency
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Treating an unconscious casualty (including seizure)
- Wounds and bleeding
- Shock
- Minor injuries
- Choking
- Preventing cross infection, recording incidents and actions and the
use of available equipment.
Courses fill up very quickly so please plan ahead. Courses are free to
University employees but failure to attend without notice may result in
a charge to the employee's department (£150).
There is no charge for these courses for members of staff employed by
the University (£200 for non-employees).
