Description
OVERALL AIM
This course is in two parts. The first is a short online resource to
look through prior to attending the face-to-face session. This provides
an overview of graduation ceremonies including an introduction to the
Events Team, graduation schedules, timings of ceremonies, communication
to students, the impact of appeals and resits, what happens on
graduation day, official University prizes and degree certificates.
The second part is a short one-hour face-to-face session in an IT suite.
This session will provide participants with the opportunity to have a go
at creating a record on the Online Graduation System (from a student’s
perspective) to gain a better insight into the system that students are
required to use. There will also be an opportunity to ask any questions
relating to the information within the online resource.
