Description
An overview of the University’s research strategy and strategic drivers,
and your role. The session will include case studies of established and
emerging research groups and how they achieve a balance of volume,
quality and impact. There will also be an introduction to research and
innovation support at Leeds, including an overview of the research
funding landscape. This will be followed by an interactive and practical
session where you can share each other’s experience, covering:

· a strategic and planned approach to your outputs;

· what makes world leading 4* research;

· innovation in relation to our research strategy; how this can be
achieved and what support you might need; and

· planning your research and impact strategy.
