Description
Within this interactive session we will use active learning techniques
to discuss the key principles of literature searching. Key principles
include breaking down a research question into key concepts, using
techniques such as Boolean to build a search strategy and identifying
sources to search.
By the end of the session you will be able to:

• Define a research question and turn it into a search strategy
• Use advanced search techniques to help improve a search strategy
• Identify and evaluate database sources
• Conduct citation searches
• Understand how to find full text of articles

learning activities.
