Description
Overall Aim of the Course
To give an overview of the student mental health and student counselling
services within the University and to understand the differences in
order to be able to make informed referrals.

Content
This session will provide information and stimulate discussion around
the different roles of the Mental Health Team and the Student
Counselling Centre and referral pathways into the services.

Learning Outcomes
1. To give an overview of the mental health and counselling services
within the University
2. To understand the differences in order to able to make informed
referrals

Learning and Teaching Methods
Interactive workshop including presentation, discussion and small group
work.

Tutors
Jeanette Hannah is the University's Mental Health Advisor.
Madeleine Robinson is a Senior Counsellor in the University’s Student Counselli
Service.
