Description
Aim:
The University of Leeds promotes the use of technology to enhance face
to face teaching on campus through a Digital Strategy for Taught Student
Education and a Blended Learning Strategy. In this session we will
consider effective practice for blending technology into programme and
module design.

Outcomes:
By the end of the session you should be better able to:

• Discuss what you mean by blended learning in your context and your
rationale for introduction and use of technology; and

• Consider evidence-based factors for success when embedding use of
technology;
• Prepare to support your students to access and use technology in
learning and
• Evaluate the use of technology to enhance student learning.

Content:
This workshop is a discursive small group session accompanied by audit
tools, evaluation forms, and links to resources to support blended
learning.
