Description
Aim:
This session aims to consider new pedagogical approaches to learning and
teaching and their potential application in participant’s own
disciplinary contexts.

Outcomes:
By the end of this session participants will be better able to:
• Discuss models such as learning through story-telling, game based
learning, simulations and models, performative learning and bricolage
• Consider how "innovative" pedagogical approaches could support
student learning on programmes and modules
• Plan to integrate new pedagogical models into their learning
design.

Content:
This will be an interactive workshop which will introduce participants
to a number of pedagogical approaches and using a case-study approach
invite participants to consider how they might be used in learning
design.
