Description
The UK Research Councils have stipulated that ethical awareness is a key
element of good research practice. Research students are required “to be
able to demonstrate awareness of issues relating to the rights of other
researchers, of research subjects, and of others who may be affected by
the research” (Joint Skills Statement). We explore issues including
consent and confidentiality, and examples of best practice in addressing
them.
